Overview


Tung Wah Group of Hospitals (T.W.G.Hs.) is the largest charitable organization with the longest history in Hong Kong.  Since 1870, TWGHs have developed medical, education and community services to have over 300 service centres all over Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and New Territories.

Tung Wah have developed day nursery services since 1968, there are 15 nursery schools which are registered as Non-Profit-Making Kindergarten-cum-Child care centres to provide long whole-day care and education services for children aged 2 - 6 with integrated programme and curriculum is designed to cater for children's needs according to developmental ages and learning diversity. All nursery schools in order that children can build-up physical and psychological health, strong learning foundation, positive learning attitudes and life habits through happy environment.

  • To enable children grow up sprightly and healthily in loving environment under the care and guidance of professionally trained teachers.
  • To nurture children's good living habits, learning interests, and self-care abilities.
  • To foster children's holistic development in the domains of social interaction, cognition, physical health, emotions, aesthetics, and creativity.
  • To support families in solving education and child care problems so that parents can be relieved to go to work, and be engaged to pursue betterment in child care.

To convey caring culture and positive messages to families and the community, to create safe and appropriate environment for children's growth and to nurture children's initiative and independence in learning through a variety, balanced and enlightening play activities.

Education team

  • All our teachers hold professional qualifications and have extensive experience in early childhood education, teacher-to-student ratio of 1:11.
  • With registered social workers and psychologist to provide professional support to children and families in need.
  • Special child care worker to carry out integrated programme.
  • Consultation and training form educational psychologists, speech therapists, occupational therapists and physical therapists for curriculum and pedagogy.

School Facilities


The nursery school has floor area of 625 sq.m., which includes activities rooms, indoor playground, music room, kitchen, kid's lavatory, principal room, staff room, laundry and store room, etc.

Each activity room provides diverse age-appropriate learning corners, such as dramatic play, reading and writing, art and crafts, construction play, practical life, nature and science, etc.
